The Mu Sigma Phi Fraternity proudly congratulates Brod Gideon Lasco, MD, PhD ΜΣΦ 2010 for being the recipient of the prestigious Virginia A. Miralao Excellence in Research Award 2022 by the Philippine Social Science Council. The Award annually recognizes the best article or publication in social science written by promising young Filipino scholars.
His winning article titled “Living together in precarious times: COVID-19 in the Philippines” deals with current and pressing issues in our society during this pandemic. Brod Gid’s timely and relevant scholarship is truly an inspiration to us all.
