Carlo Gerardo B. Ramirez, MΣΦ 1985 Scholarship

Hailing from Ilagan, Isabela, Jov is a BSc Biochemistry graduate from the College of Arts and Sciences, University of the Philippines Manila. Currently planning to specialize in Diagnostic Radiology, his soothing voice often takes him on the center stage with the Mu Sigma Phi Band.

Cornelius C. Turalba, MΣΦ 1970 Scholarship

 A BSc Biology (magna cum laude) graduate from the College of Science, University of the Philippines Diliman, Raffy is one of the most versatile members of his Batch – multi-talented and has demonstrated several times the eagerness and efficiency to expand his skillset. This Marikeño is fascinated with human anatomy, and is set to pursue future residency training in Orthopedics.

Earnest Caiser Q. Dela Cruz, MΣΦ 2019

Ishwar H. Gopichand, MΣΦ 1990 Scholarship

 One of the academic and extra-curricular leaders of his UP Manila BSc Pharmacy graduating batch, this licensed pharmacist from Ifugao is no stranger to managing student organizations (he is a former President of UP Sandigan) and conducting community-oriented and socially-relevant projects. This aspiring Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeon is the current Head of the Fraternity’s award-winning Project H2O (Help 2 Others) service arm.

Allan Joseph D. Limbago, MΣΦ 2019

James Vincent Y. Almirante, MΣΦ 1992 Scholarship

 An Integrated Liberal Arts and Medicine (INTARMED) Direct Entrant from Bohol, AJ is deeply interested in the medical fields of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, and Neurosciences. He has gained quite a public following for his astonishing Yo-Yo skills and tricks. At present, he is serving as one of the Fraternity’s Brothers Recorder.

Christopher John G. Macapugay, MΣΦ 2019

MΣΦ 1986 Scholarship

A native of Bulacan and a BSc Community Nutrition (cum laude) degree holder from the College of Home Economics, UP Diliman, the current one-half of the Fraternity’s Guardians of the Temple landed on the 6th spot in the 2014 Nutritionist-Dietitian Licensure Examination. He is an avid video game player on multiple platforms, while also being a track-and-field athlete and a Taekwondo Black Belter.


Four members of the Mu Sigma Phi Sorority Batch 2019 were also awarded scholarship grants care of the Foundation and alumni Sisters: Karina Viola L. Bulong, μΣΦ 2019, Soraya Elisse E. Escandor, μΣΦ 2019, Justine G. Presinede, μΣΦ 2019, and Patrisha F. Quema, μΣΦ 2019.
