The Mu Sigma Phi is a blessed blending of the Apollonian and the Dionysian—the rational and the vital. The Mu Man strives to learn all he can from life, thus, each brother is a scholar in his own right. For he does his best to expand his mind from the narrow horizons and lift his wisdom beyond the alley of medicine.

There is no other field of study that is more complicated and wide than understanding the human life itself. Medicine is both an art and a science. Knowing how to relate with others and discovering the intricacies of human nature are perhaps as hard and complicated as mastering the principles and facts of Medicine. We in the Mu Sigma Phi strive to nurture both aspects of growth and learning within our brotherhood and preserve both traditions of excellence and relevance through time.
