There's no stopping the Mu Sigma Phi Fraternity in reaching greater heights, even at 2922 meters above sea level. The Brods, led by Mr. Pinoy Mountaineer extraordinaire Paul Gideon Lasco ΜΣΦ 2010, will scale Mt. Pulag–the highest peak in Luzon–on February 7, 2009.
Sponsored by Coca-Cola, PowerAde, Viva Mineral Water, and Hi-Tec, the Charity Climb will include 100 mountaineers from different school-based student organizations in the National Capital Region. Slots for climbers have been fully booked since January 12, 2009. And in scaling greater heights for a higher cause, proceeds from the Charity Climb, together with medicines and healthcare equipment, will be donated to the Tiboli Evangelical Clinic in South Cotabato and the Kabayan Health Office in Benguet.
