After a courtesy call to the Dean's Office last April 15, 2010, retired Col. Eusebio C. Kho, MD ΜΣΦ 1960 was given a warm welcome by the undergraduate brods at the MU Hut. During his short stay at the College, unfaltering ties of Brotherhood were relived as Brod Seb shared words of wisdom and encouragement to the young blood of the Fraternity. Also present to greet him were Dr. Lito Legaspi ΜΣΦ 1974 of the PGH-Department of Radiology and Fraternity Resident Adviser Dr. Arthur Alban ΜΣΦ 2006 from the PGH-Department of Pediatrics. Brod Seb-renowned surgeon and named one of 2008's Twenty Outstanding Filipinos Abroad-again brought glory to our beloved Fraternity by being selected as one of the inductees to the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He was conferred the membership during ceremonies held at the UP Film Theatre in Diliman last April 6, 2010. A congratulatory dinner for Brod Seb was held at Guiligan's, Glorietta 5 by evening. In attendance were several Fraternity and Sorority alumni, as well as the Executive Council-elect. Dr. Eusebio C. Kho, a native of Negros Oriental, took his secondary education at Silliman University where he graduated valedictorian. He finished his medical degree, ranking 8th out of the 98 graduates from UPCM Class 1960. He took his surgical residency training at the Johns Hopkin's Bayview Medical Center and received his surgical board certification in 1972. Brod Seb served under the US Army Reserve from 1980 to 2001, and throughout his 20-year stay, he has been awarded several medals for his participation in the Gulf War. At present, he resides in Scottsburg, Indiana, along with his wife and five children. |
