Presenting Mu Batch 2015's Scholars Print E-mail

The Pillar of Scholarship is upheld higher than ever as the Mu Sigma Phi Fraternity, sponsors a record-high six Mu scholars from Batch 2015. The grants were announced this Monday, June 27, 2011, during the Mu Sigma Phi Exhibit launch. This batch of scholars consists of two brods from Class 2014 and four brods from Class 2015.

Babs, from Class 2015, is a magna cum laude BS Molecular Biology and Biotechnology graduate from UP Diliman. Hailing from Cagayan, he is highly energetic, innovative, and one of Batch 2015’s techies. Babs spearheaded last year’s iTouch Lives, a raffle event of Batch 2015’s 4MUlation, and is currently the head of the QEFF-PHAP Video Library.

Gab, from Class 2015, is a BA Psychology graduate from UP Diliman. An avid writer and athlete, he has previously worked as a research assistant during his undergraduate years in UP Diliman and is a member of the UP Medics. Gab was the part of the 2nd Quisumbing-Escandor Film Festival for Health (QEFF) as the Call for Entries Committee Head, and currently serves as a Brother Recorder for this Fiscal Year.

P3, from Class 2015, is a BS Biology graduate from UP Diliman and a member of the UP Vanguard, serving as its Corps Commander in his graduating year. A native of Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, P3 is a member of the Regionalization Students' Organization, was head of the VIP Committee of the 2nd QEFF Awards Night and Press Conference, and currently the Fraternity’s Guardian of the Temple.

Nonoy, from Class 2015, hails from Iloilo and is a BS Biology graduate from UP Visayas Miag-ao. A silent but efficient worker, he steered Batch 2015 to the success of the iHarana Mu, the Fraternity's annual Valentine serenade service. He is currently a member of the Service Committee as the Fraternity's Health Missions Chair.

Aries, from Class 2014, hails from Palawan and is a cum laude BS Biology graduate of UP Los Baños. A former researcher at the International Rice Research Institute, he is the Batch’s singer, starring in our iHarana Mu serenade service. Aries was the co-head of 4MUlation's Ball for the Glory, co-head for the recently concluded Fiesta at the Hut, and member of the Fraternity's Ways and Means Committee.

Aqui, from Class 2015, is a BS Biology graduate from UP Manila, who hails from Agusan del Norte. Known as the batch daddy of 2015, he is married to Frances Victoria Pascual-Quicho and has a one-year old named Caleb. Aqui served as the Sponsorship head of Batch Project: 4MUlation, is a member of the Regionalization Students Organization, and is currently a member of the Service Committee as the Fraternity's Drug Bank Chair.

The Mu Sigma Phi Foundation, whose main benefactors are our brods and sisses in America, also sponsored four sisses from Batch 2015: Emma Magbitang, Anj Carlos, Jen Chavez, and April Sales, all from Class 2015.
