Aired on August 22, 2010, the segment featured Ms. Gomez’s accomplishment of reaching the peak of Mt. Batulao and prevailing over the stereotyped limitations of an amputee. This has been the aim and advocacy of the Mubility activities since its establishment in 2007: to uplift the welfare and raise awareness for amputees and differently-abled individuals that they are still capable of living normal lives.
