There is no other family like the Mu Family. For even in the US, the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood reverberates like an echo through time and space. Undergrads Gio Delgado ΜΣΦ '12, Joboy Dumlao ΜΣΦ '12, Kiev Tanayan ΜΣΦ '12, Butch Abuel ΜΣΦ '14, Jan Quijano µΣΦ '12, Hannie Uy µΣΦ '12 and Lyz Fernan µΣΦ '13 were in the East Coast mostly taking their Summer Electives when they met some of the brods and sisses in the USA.

May 7, 2010, New York City --  Brod Manuel Enecilla ΜΣΦ ‘01 treated the group to Porterhouse Restaurant in Time Warner Mall, Columbus Circle.  The taste of a prime New York Strip steak was exceptional, just as the conversation we had during the sumptuous meal. Brod Manuel is currently practicing in a hospital in NYC not far from the place we fine-dined.

May 22, 2010, New Jersey- brods and sisses from across generations came together at Sis Gerry Pinder's residence to enjoy the weekend, the pleasant weather, good food and great company. Brods in attendance were Ben Oteyza ΜΣΦ '56, Jess Remigio ΜΣΦ '65, Gil "El Magnifico Fanatico" Delos Reyes ΜΣΦ '71 and Bernard Cruz ΜΣΦ '74. Sisses present were Gerry Pinder µΣΦ '71, Carmen Castaneda µΣΦ '75 and Ranee Llena µΣΦ '04.

A great dining area at Sis Gerry's spacious deck overlooking some trees and a golf course at West Orange was just the best picnic site for some pork, beef and lamb barbeque. Brod Gil and Ben hailed all the way from Maryland  to bring us the tastiest Maryland crabs with some booze for a treat. Sisses Carmen and Ranee took care of desserts, while the undergrad brods and sisses brought... themselves! After an afternoon of endless chatter, photo-ops, and karaoke, it was indeed proven that we have a brotherhood/sisterhood that knows no time, no place, no generation...

Thank you to Sis Gerry for the hospitality and to all the brods and sisses who made the undergrads who visited this foreign land feel like it was a lot closer to home!

Ang laking advantage ng pagiging MU when looking for US-based off-campus electives pagdating ng LU V! Malaki pa din advantage kahit local off-campus electives!
