For the tenth time since the inception of the award, Mu Sigma Phi Fraternity has been named the Most Outstanding Student Organization in the University of the Philippines Manila. This year also marks the third consecutive time our Fraternity has received this recognition. Mu achieved its first series of wins from 1991 to 1995, a streak which resulted in the Fraternity being the first student organization to be elevated to the Hall of Fame of Most Outstanding Organizations in U.P. Manila. In more recent years, the MOSO was awarded to the Fraternity in 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007. Special thanks go out to last fiscal year’s Most Exalted Brother Naegele Mandal ’08, the Quisumbing-Escandor Film Festival Committee led by Bryan Lim ’10, BJ Jumangit ’08 and Mark Gomez ’11, and consultant adviser Pipo Bundoc ’86 whose efforts gave rise to the MUbility Amputee Support Group . The awarding ceremonies will be held on June 16, 2008 at the Philippine General Hospital Social Hall.
