MANILA, Philippines - Mu Sigma Phi's Amputee Support Group "MuBility", together with the Physicians for Peace, Operation Blessing, Department of Orthopedics and the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH), and the City of Manila joined forces last December 19, 2008 to hold the first "walkathon" for amputees and MuBility prosthesis beneficiaries. The event was designed to promote awareness of inexpensive rehabilitation services and techniques available at the PGH, and also to advocate the need to empower the disabled and help them in their quest to achieve functionality and independence. The Manila Bulletin and Philippine Star have both published their respective articles of the Amputee Walkathon last December 21, 2008. The Philippine Daily Inquirer came out with its Amputee Walkathon writeup the following day, December 22, 2008.

Mu Sigma Phi's number at the Tao Rin Pala 2009. Watch as the entire fraternity performs a "stomp" routine. Turn up the volume to hear a very familiar chant to the tune of LMFAO's sh*ts, err... Shots. |
