Neophytes of Batch 2015 and Brods from 2014 and 2013 picked up their working clothes and shovels in the humble spirit of community development and volunteerism, as Mu Sigma Phi continued to incorporate service-oriented activities into its initiations through participation in the Home Build of Gawad Kalinga in Pinagsama, Taguig.

After more than 4 years of annual builds at GK Pinagsama, the area is livelier than ever with the addition of new phases of GK homes and a bustling population of responsible, passionate, and hard-working kapitbahayans. Mu Sigma Phi has been witness to the reform and growth of GK Pinagsama and hopes to bolster its partnership with Gawad Kalinga through more innovative endeavors in social transformation.

With the sun beating down on their sweat-drenched backs, MU brods and neophytes worked together and proved, much like the hard-earned houses of GK, that nothing worth having comes easy. Congratulations to Most Illustrious Brother Popo Dumlao ΜΣΦ 2013, UP Manila Coordinator for GK Chuck Ecarma ΜΣΦ 2013, and Bearer of the Staff Daniel Dellosa ΜΣΦ 2013 for coordinating these activities.
