November 12, 2009 – The long-standing Service Pillar integral to the Brotherhood and Sisterhood, MU SIGMA PHI Service Month was launched last Thursday with a BSLR exhibit, entitled “ORO, PLATA, MATA: Seeing Service through the lens of Mu Sigma Phi”.

Advisers Dr. Jun Carnate ΜΣΦ 1994 and Dr. Joie Cañal µΣΦ 1995 were present for the exhibit’s ribbon-cutting, for which their Opening Remarks reinforced the dynamism and perseverance of Service. Bearer of the Staff Button Ricarte ΜΣΦ 2012 and Service Committee Chair Patricia Cielo µΣΦ2012 then ushered in Service Month by introducing the line-up of activities.

Fraternity Adviser Dr. Jun Carnate ΜΣΦ 1994 and Sorority Adviser Dr. Joie Cañal µΣΦ 1995 graced the exhibit opening for MU's Service Month 2009.
