Dr. Kazan Baluyot ΜΣΦ 2001, Past Most Exalted Brother, was recently recognized at the 38th Annual Convention of the Philippine College of Physicians (PCP) Last May 7, 2008. Brod Kazan won first place in the PCP Young Investigators Award in the Analytical Category. Kazan's winning research entitled "The Efficacy of Povidone-Iodine Oral Rinse in Preventing Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia: A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial" was also recognized in the Research Poster Competion of the 12th Annual UP College of Medicine and Philippine General Hospital Research Week last November, 2007. Brod Kazan has recently completed his diplomate in Internal Medicine at the Department of Medicine, Philippine General Hospital. He is currently pursuing a fellowship in cardiology at the Medical City. Congratulations Brod! A timely feat for our 75th Anniversary. All for the Glory!
