Dr. James Philip Alberto Cruz ΜΣΦ 1998, was recently recognized by Philippines Graphic as one of the 18 Young Leaders for 2008.  Dr. Philip Cruz ΜΣΦ 1998 featured in Graphic Magazine The Philippines Graphic dubbed its 18 Young Leaders for 2008 as "proof that the Filipino youth are not apathetic", quite a fitting description to Brod Philip for his accomplishments. Dr. Cruz received the recognition for his efforts in establishing the Give-A-Life Charity Foundation, an organization that donates medical equipment, medicine, and financial assistance to pediatric patients in the Philippines. It was during his residency at the Philippine General Hospital when Give-A-Life Charity Foundation started aiding children in pediatric wards. At present, the foundation has channelled P92 million in antibiotics, cancer treatment medicines, and pediatric ward refurbishments. Apart from being involved in charity, Brod Philip is currently the Medical and Public Affairs Manager of Sanofi Pasteur Philippines. Dr. Cruz still actively participates in the fraternity's activities. Not only is he present in our gatherings, he also facilitates and coordinates medical missions for the service committee of the Mu Sigma Phi. Congratulations Brod Philip!
