The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is now a partner of the fraternity in its advocacy for health through the 2nd Quisumbing-Escandor Film Festival for Health. In a casual meeting with DSWD Sec. Esperanza Cabral μΣΦ 1968 last June 18, 2009, QEFF Over-all Chair Bryan Lim ΜΣΦ 2010 together with Brothers Recorder Daniel Dellosa ΜΣΦ 2013 and Argee Dorado ΜΣΦ 2013, forged the partnership for the film-making contest that will be held in July of 2010. Current partners include the Department of Health, TAYO Awards Foundation and the Philippine Association of Communication Educators. The project has been endorsed by UP President Emerlinda Roman and is supported by the University of the Philippines.
