Several weeks before the stag, we got an email from Pipo Bundoc ΜΣΦ 1986 about a possible get together with the brods who will be attending the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons Convention.  They were wondering if the Las Vegas Brods can get a mini stag going.  We decided to have it in Jun Aragon's ΜΣΦ 1982 at Turnberry Place on Saturday Feb. 28.

Most of the Brods made it there by themselves. We picked up Ted Tacata ΜΣΦ 1973, Adrian Catbagan ΜΣΦ 1981 and Pipo Bundoc at the Venetian. They saw me first (MU Jacket might have given me away). The sweet smell of burnt flesh and the aroma of that liquid cereal beverage awaited us at the Turnberry. The fridge was full of Bud and Heineken.  The food as always was plentyful. Brod Ruel Roque ΜΣΦ 1981 (Touro University Medical School Department of Anatomy Chief) greeted his batchmate when we got to Jun's place. Butch Leagogo ΜΣΦ 1979 got picked up from Bellagio by batchmate Ric Diaz ΜΣΦ 1979.  Several ΜΣΦ Batch '79's heard about Butch being there and so they travelled to Vegas and joined us (aforementioned Ric Diaz plus Steve Cachero, Mars Martinez, Vito Taleon, Caloy Torres, Hermie Villar). Brod Vito Taleon ΜΣΦ 1979 got a lot of ribbing from the brods when he was watching Sis Anna Treichler μΣΦ 1983 (a former flame) perform during the UPMAS Ball last December (via Youtube). Brod Kups Villaruel ΜΣΦ 1974 walked in with Gar Eufemio ΜΣΦ 1992 and Ric Liwag ΜΣΦ 1983 and the volume of the laughter got to its peak level. Kups got us to sing The Frat Song like a seasoned choir director. Stories from the 75th Anniversary Ball, tales from the years past, nicknames of the older brods, College and Hospital news, the "other's" orange juice ball, etc. kept the fellowship and laughter going. Brod Pipo brought with him several copies of his magnificent work and regaled us with stories about how he discovered some of the previously unpublished pictures and anecdotes about our college... "A Priori.. Ad Infinitum!". To our esteemed fraternity dignitaries/VIP's and Brods, the MU Las Vegans would like to thank you for bringing us home this weekend.  As the song goes.. "A Mu is a Mu wherever he may be...." AFTG!
