“For the first time, my disability did not feel like a hindrance but an access to a great community. I was able to conquer myself and gain new friends.”

Participants gathered last May 12 at Alvior Hall, UP College of Medicine to celebrate the successful Amputee Climb 3. The ceremonies began with a video presentation of the recent climb and an opening speech given by AC3 Project Head, Job Ayahao (Mu 2019), and the event then took an inspiring tone when our amputee partners each testified about the experience and what it meant to them. The event concluded with awarding of Certificates of Accomplishment, freebies from our partner companies, sponsors and donors, and a small salo-salo. We thank the brods and sisses of the Mu Sigma Phi as well as our amputee partners who were able to attend despite the traffic and their busy schedules.

And as always, a big THANK YOU to our partners, sponsors, and donors! #MindOverMountain
