The Mu Sigma Phi Sorority traces more than eight decades of existence when seven dreamy-eyed members of the Ladies Auxiliary Committee of its fraternity counterpart decided to establish on August 27, 1934 what was to become the first medical sorority of the university, Philippines and Asia.

Led by its officers and guided by its four pillars of Sisterhood, Service, Scholarship and Leadership, the sorority went on to carve a name for itself as a pioneer and trailblazer in the college as well as country. Their illustrious alumnae and solid list of accomplishments attest to their integrity and responsiveness to the needs of fellowmen.
